In the last year, Nick has assisted in the financing of beverage companies like Rebbl, Spindrift, Vital Proteins, Koia, Owl’s Brew and GEM&BOLT – and has overseen the acquisitions of RXBar by Kellogg, Chameleon Cold Brew by Nestle, Sir Kensington’s by Unilever, the acquisition of Siggi’s by Lactalis and the is currently working on multiple sales transactions in the 100s of millions of dollars for the firm’s other food and beverage clients.

Ryan Lewendon is an attorney focused on the representation of high-growth, innovative consumer products companies. Mr. Lewendon is a partner at The Giannuzzi Group LLP, a premiere boutique law firm that concentrates on the representation of privately-held, high-growth consumer products companies. Prior to joining The Giannuzzi Group in 2011, Mr. Lewendon was an associate at Donovan & Giannuzzi LLP.
Since 2007, Mr. Lewendon has focused his practice on helping consumer products entrepreneurs grow their companies – by navigating both the day-to-day hurdles and the tent-pole obstacles and opportunities a consumer products company must navigate on its way towards an acquisition. Mr Lewendon has assisted hundreds of companies structure and negotiate their distributor, broker and supplier relationships, employee incentive programs and advisory networks, and celebrity/influencer endorsements and promotional partnerships.
Mr. Lewendon has advised clients through financing transactions at every stage of their growth cycle – from angel investments to rounds with institutional investors. Mr. Lewendon has recently assisted clients in exit transactions with acquirers such as Coke, Pepsi, General Mills, Boulder Brands, Group Danone, Bacardi, General Mills and others.
Mr. Lewendon grew up in Hamden, Connecticut. He received a M.S in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Tulane University and a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, where he was a member of the Moot Court Honors Society’s Sports Law team. When he isn’t busy helping bring emerging brands to the mainstream, Mr. Lewendon is an avid runner, reader and raconteur. Mr. Lewendon resides in Manhattan, New York.
Prior to joining The Giannuzzi Group, Anthony received his B.S. from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, where he was awarded a full academic scholarship to study engineering. Anthony went on to receive his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, while also studying abroad in Beijing, China.
During his (limited) time away from the office, Anthony serves as chairman of the board of directors for the Science Schools Initiative – a New York based not-for-profit corporation which provides free, high-quality SHSAT test preparation to hundreds of middle school students who cannot afford private tutoring.
Anthony is also a member of the American Bar Association and his practice areas include corporate, real estate and other transactional matters.
Born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida it was inevitably known to Kara that she would end up in New York City. Before joining The Giannuzzi Group, Kara received a B.S. in Advertising from the University of North Florida, a J.D. from the University of Florida and an LL.M. in corporate law from New York University.
When she’s free of helping clients achieve their entrepreneurial goals, Kara enjoys running, traveling and photography (in addition to daydreaming about the Jaguars winning a Super Bowl, of course).
Kara is also a proud supporter of St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and The Special Olympics.
Blake is an attorney focused on guiding private consumer brand companies and entrepreneurs from the infancy of an idea through successful exit. He also regularly serves as counsel to individual and institutional investors in the consumer brands, hospitality and technology industries. Thus, you’ll find him advising on a broad range of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, venture capital investments, key supply chain relationships, endorsement and promotional partnerships with athletes, celebrities and other influencers, and general corporate governance and operations.
A native New Yorker, Blake earned his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Cornell University (with a brief hiatus at the University College London in London, England) before heading out west to study law at the University of Southern California Gould School of Law in Los Angeles, California. Perfect weather couldn’t beat out a New York slice of pizza so Blake made his way back to where it all started and joined up with The Giannuzzi Group in 2012.
When not in the office, Blake is busy crossing restaurants and beaches off his list with his friends and family, as well as making the occasional appearance on turntables throughout the city (thanks to his father the disco encyclopedia) and on the silver screen (thanks to his sister the filmmaker). Blake also serves on the board of directors of CUE Art Foundation, a non-profit visual arts center dedicated to creating essential career and educational opportunities for emerging and under-recognized artists of all ages.
Raised just outside of Detroit, Michigan; Adam attended Cranbrook-Kingswood high school, where he developed a passion for all things Detroit. From Michigan he ventured to Poughkeepsie, New York where he attended Vassar College and was a 4-year member of the Men’s Varsity Soccer team; serving as team captain his senior year.
Adam graduated from Brooklyn Law School – Cum Laude – and was a member of the Moot Court Honors Society. He also held the title of articles editor for the Brooklyn Journal of Corporate, Financial and Commercial Law.
Adam currently resides in the West Village, where he spends his weekends playing soccer and finding the best eggs benedict in the neighborhood.
Ryan originally hails from Texas, being born and raised near Dallas and attending The University of Texas where he studied civil and structural engineering.
After working in Austin in construction management and government for a couple of years, Ryan subsequently received his J.D. from New York University School of Law and served as an Articles Editor with the NYU Journal of Law & Business.
When not helping to guide clients in growing their businesses, Ryan is an avid skier, cyclist and Texas Longhorns football fan, and enjoys exploring the endless array of dining innovation in New York.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, Daniella always knew she would go back to her roots after attending high school in Florida. After her sunshine state hiatus, she graduated with a B.S. from New York University where she majored in journalism, psychology and minored in law.
Prior to joining The Giannuzzi Group, Daniella received a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, graduating with a certificate in intellectual property. During law school, she worked as a full-time paralegal at various law firms and fashion brand legal departments.
A true foodie, Daniella currently resides in Brooklyn and spends her free time baking artisanal pastries and sketching.
Gabi was born and raised outside of Boston. Before joining The Giannuzzi Group, Gabi received her B.S. in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations from Boston University, where she competed on the Division 1 Women’s Rowing Team.
She later went on to receive her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, where she was a member of the Moot Court Honors Society, Appellate Division, as both a competitor and coach.
In her spare time, Gabi enjoys roaming the city looking for the best fries NYC has to offer and finding new places where New England sports fans are welcome. She is also a proud supporter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Chase grew up just outside of Philadelphia and earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science at Temple University. Later, he earned his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, where he was an associate managing editor for the Brooklyn Journal of Corporate, Financial, & Commercial Law and earned a Certificate in Intellectual Property, Media, and Information Law.
Chase currently lives in Brooklyn Heights. In his free time, he hangs out at Prospect Park, reads novels on the Promenade, and enjoys discovering Brooklyn with his girlfriend. Despite the move to New York, he is still a proud supporter of Philadelphia sports and culture.
A true New Yorker, Peter was born and raised on the North Shore of Long Island, where he attended Chaminade High School. Peter went on to attend Fordham University and graduated cum laude with a degree in Finance.
Continuing his Fordham education, he later received his J.D. from Fordham Law School – and was a member of the Fordham Law Federal Tax Clinic. He also served as an Associate Editor for the Fordham Intellectual Property, Media & Entertainment Law Journal.
Peter grew up racing go-karts and is an avid Formula-1 fan. On the weekends, Peter enjoys exercising and exploring Long Island City for the best new restaurants.
A city boy through and through, Matt was born and raised on the Upper West Side of Manhattan – just a couple of blocks away from Zabar’s. After attending Riverdale Country School in the Bronx, Matt studied economics at the University of Michigan (Go Blue!).
Matt returned to New York to attend Fordham University School of Law where he graduated cum laude and was a member of the Urban Law Journal.
Matt is an avid follower of the Mets, Giants, Knicks and University of Michigan sports teams. When he isn’t at a game, Matt is seeing every movie he can or relaxing with a crime novel.
Raised in Colorado, Emily attended and graduated from the University of Colorado-Boulder with a B.A. in Psychology. She first made her way out to the East Coast to attend Boston University School of Law where she served as an editor of the Public Interest Law Journal. After achieving her J.D., she moved to New York City to join the Giannuzzi Group. Emily is currently admitted to practice law in the state of Massachusetts and is in the process of seeking admission to the New York State Bar.
Like any true Colorado girl, Emily enjoys snowboarding, hiking, and cheering on the Denver Broncos.
Stephanie was born and raised just outside of New York City in suburban New Jersey not far from the Real Housewives. Since she was only 8 years old, Stephanie knew she wanted to be a lawyer.
Before joining The Giannuzzi Group, she attended Fordham University where she received both her B.A. in International Political Economy and her J.D. While in law school, she competed in the Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court, held a board position in Fordham’s Dispute Resolution Society, served as a Notes and Articles Editor for the Fordham International Law Journal, and was a member of Fordham’s Moot Court.
A New Jersey native raised in South Florida, Harrison always knew he would make his way back north to New York City. Harrison attended the North Broward Preparatory School in Florida before continuing on to the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis, where he graduated with a B.S.B.A. in Marketing and spent his spare time on the airwaves of WashU’s student-run radio station.
Before joining the Giannuzzi Group, Harrison earned his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, where he represented early-stage startups in Fordham’s Entrepreneurial Law Clinic, and received the Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award. Harrison lives on Manhattan’s Upper East Side and enjoys running, stand-up comedy, and making progress on his NYC restaurant list. Harrison is awaiting admittance to the New York Bar.
Chloe was born and raised in New York City. She received her B.S. in Fiber Science and Apparel Design from Cornell University and her M.A. in Contemporary Art from the Sotheby’s Institute in London. She earned her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, where she served as Symposium Editor of the Intellectual Property, Media & Entertainment Law Journal, and received the Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award.
Chloe worked with many entrepreneurs and emerging companies through her legal internships at Warby Parker, Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, and Fordham’s Entrepreneurial Law Clinic. Before law school, Chloe worked in the art world for several years and had a business of her own. Chloe is an avid supporter of the visual arts and participates in many charitable organizations.
Tommy was born and raised mostly in Brazil, with a 7-year stint in Brooklyn and New Jersey. He received his B.A. in Politics from Occidental College in Los Angeles and his J.D. from New York University School of Law. At NYU he served as a staff editor on the Journal of International Law and Politics.
Before joining The Giannuzzi Group, he was an associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP in the firm’s international general corporate practice group.
Tommy serves on the board of a non-profit that helps fund teacher training and scholarships for low-income students at The American School of São Paulo. He also enjoys hiking, running and practicing yoga. Tommy works in the firm’s Santa Monica office. Tommy is admitted in New York, and his California admission is pending.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, Maia received her B.A. in Speech Pathology and Audiology from St. John’s University while competing as a Division 1 Track and Field Heptathlete and Pentathlete. She later earned her M.B.A with a concentration in Sports Management, from Seton Hall University Stillman School of Business, where she graduated with honors.
When outside of the office, Maia is either cheering for her son Aeneas as he runs the football field at Stanford University, or coaching her son Amadeus as he runs for Jaguar Track and Field. Maia has competed in three triathlons and plans to spearhead The Giannuzzi Group Fit Club.
A born and raised Jersey girl from Montville, Jenan received her B.A. in Journalism and Media Studies from Rutgers University, graduating with honors as a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success. During her undergraduate career she spent 5 months traveling throughout Europe and studying Social Psychology (specifically the creation and societal impact of public relations) at a private university in Wroxton, England, where she fell in love with the world of branding.
Prior to joining The Giannuzzi Group, Jenan has three years of event planning, public relations and marketing experience in the music and fashion industries, some of which include having promoted Beyoncé Knowles’ 4th album and working on two Victoria’s Secret Fashion Shows.
With a permanent travel bug, Jenan spends her free time out of the office traveling the world and keeping up with her blog.
Bryce earned her MFA in Fiction from the University of Michigan Helen Zell Writers’ Program, where she was a finalist for the Hopwood Award, the Curator of the Edwards Reading Series, and the recipient of the UM internship grant for PEN America. After her MFA, she received the Helen Zell Fellowship to continue work on her novel.
During her stint in Michigan, Bryce led many lives as Managing Editor of the Michigan Quarterly Review, a Product Manager for a Detroit tech start-up, and a freelance writer for corporate and advocacy clients. Prior to Giannuzzi Group, Bryce graduated with honors from Bryn Mawr College and worked for three years in public relations and communications in NYC.
A New York native, Bryce is a dedicated volunteer at MoMA and a proud supporter of the Room Project in Detroit.
A 3-year-old, 11 lbs. rescue Chiweenie from Georgia, Stella enjoys walks on the High Line, naps, and occasionally getting into the office snacks.
